Privacy & Data

Privacy & data overview

What data is collected, how code execution works, and how to export or request deletion of your account.

Last updated 2026-07-30

NextDeveloper is designed to protect your personal information and your learning data.

What we collect

  • Account information: email, name, and optional GitHub username.
  • Learning progress: completed lessons, test results, and code submissions.
  • Usage data: page views and feature usage, used only to improve the platform.

How code is handled

Code run in the in-browser sandbox (sandboxed iframe) stays on your device. Code run in WebContainer also stays in your browser and is not used for training.

Your rights

You can export your account data and reset your local preferences from Account settings. For a full account deletion, contact privacy@nextdeveloper.com and we will remove your data according to our retention policy.
