Developer Growth Map

Developer Growth Map overview

What the Growth Map measures and how it tracks your understanding.

Last updated 2026-07-18

The Developer Growth Map shows you what you actually understand, not just what you have clicked through. It analyzes your real coding behavior to find patterns.

What it tracks

  • Focus Areas: concepts where you are making recurring mistakes. These are your highest-return practice targets.
  • Currently Improving: concepts where your accuracy has risen recently. This shows momentum.
  • Strengths: concepts you apply consistently and correctly.

How it works

Every time you run code, the platform classifies errors into patterns like undefined_reference, async_await_misuse, or scope_error. These patterns are mapped to concepts such as Variables & State, Async Programming, or Control Flow.

Privacy

The Growth Map uses your own activity only. It does not compare you to other users or use your code for training.

Access

The Growth Map is included with the Pro and Teams plans. Visit /growth-map to see your personal map or /team/growth-map for the team view.
